leaving me feeling empty
and shallow inside.
i miss the way your breezes
sang to my soul refreshing the early morning
then slowing warmed my skin as the day waned.
you had so much hope
and potential in your beginnings, yet
in the end
left me lonelier
than before.
i'll be waiting where you left me.
waiting for your return in another eleven months.
waiting with undeserved expectations.
